May we wish you all a very Merry Christmas, a Happy Holiday and a Great New Year. Above all else, we hope that all our pupils, parents, families and staff stay healthy, well and virus free. It has certainly not felt like a usual Christmas and we have missed all the many fun Christmas events such as: the Nativity; the Church Service; Christmas Craft-making sessions with parents; a fayre; the disco and the productions. We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 5th January, w
A number of pupils throughout the school have received Christmas Book Gifts from the reading charity, Ready Steady Read who are continuing to support us despite not being able to come into school. This was part of a reading incentive scheme and we selected several pupils from each class. Our profound thanks to go to the brilliant folk at Ready Stead Read and to 'Steadyschoolwear' as they purchased most of the books for the book gifting this year.

Stepney Primary is open every day next week, including Friday 18th December. This week, the government announced that schools could take one of their training days on the last day of term. Our trust, the YHCLT, has taken the decision that all of its primary schools will stay open on that day. It looks as though most other primary school academy trusts are also staying open next Friday as well.
We are very grateful to a parent who phoned us up last night to report a new miss. She was driving slowly along Stepney Lane when one of our pupils hurtled out in front of her on their scooter. The child didn't look either way and carried on without a sidewards glance. Fortunately, the parent stopped and no one was injured. Please remind your child about the importance of being careful on and near the roads.
