We are really interested to hear parents' views on how our Google Classroom Home Learning went with our Key Stage 2 pupils over the last couple of weeks. As we had to close this bubble of classes due to some isolated COVID cases, pupils were having to learn via Google Classroom. All parents have been sent a link to this survey. Please will you complete this for us. We will then use the responses to help us improve this service.
We are delighted that all pupils are back to school now. We had to close a bubble of KS2 pupil and the nursery for two different COVID-related and isolated reasons. We have not had an outbreak of COVID at school but followed guidance so mitigate against an outbreak occuring. Our profound thanks go to pupils, parents and staff for their support and help over the last few weeks. With just over two weeks to go before the Christmas holidays, we are sure pupils will wish to bring in Christmas Cards for their friends. In the interests of health & safety in the current COVID circumstances, pupils may bring in their cards at the start of a week. The cards will then be put straight in a box and distributed at the end of the week. Pupils have to limit their cards to children in their own class. We will not be taking cards around to other classes.
Please may we remind all parents that if pupils are told to isolate at home because the bubble they are in at school has been told to isolate, they MUST stay at home. They should not be leaving the home. Similarly, if parents have been told to isolate at home because of having symptoms and/or testing positive, they need to stay at home and not leave until their quarantine period is completed.
