Lily-May and her parents have been very creative and produced a superb 'Great Fire of London Candle Jar'. This is a brilliant (a video was sent to us as well). PS No real candles were used, they were battery operated ones!

Yesterday, a couple of large boxes of tests materials arrived at school. We are used to deliveries of test resources being sent to school, but these are usually full of SATs paper for the pupils' summer exams. Times are certainly different now. These boxes contained the COVID-19 Lateral Flow tests. Starting last night, staff are now going to take two tests at different points each week to see if they are COVID positive. As the current situation continues, we have had to had another restructure of our bubbles. In line with our Trust's Risk Assessments, our class bubbles are now set up for a maximum of 15 pupils, with one pupil at a desk and a teacher zone clearly demarcated. We have opened up another bubble today making five different bubbles in total. We have recently put these instructions up for connecting to Google Classroom via XBox or PS4. We looked in our stockroom and found 7 USB keyboards. For anyone who would like to have one of these on loan from us so that their child can use it on their XBox or PS4 please email us on email@example.com or give us a phone call. We still have plenty of spare Chrome Books. We have resent our survey to see if parents would like to have a chrome book on loan from us. If you already have a chromebook, don't fill in this form. Please fill in this survey if you need one so we may then allocate you a machine. You will then be notified by text to come and pick up one from our school office.

We have been delighted by all those children who have joined their classes on Google Meet. The sensible behaviour, good manners and respect that have been shown are truly wonderful. We have published this poster just to remind pupils about the correct way to behave online. Our Trust, the Yorkshire & the Humber Cooperative Learning Trust (YHCLT) is continuing to distribute free school meals vouchers to our parents. Given our parents are now used to this and most of you seem happy with the system this is good news. The government has also confirmed it will fund these vouchers at £15 per Free Schools Meal eligible child which increases the value of our vouchers from £11.80.
