Year 3 pupils are now in isolation. If you would like to borrow a chrome book from school for next week in order to help your child with accessing remote learning lessons, please come to the school office this afternoon (Friday 16th April) between 1pm and 2pm.
We have to report that a member of staff has tested positive and is unwell with COVID. We have taken immediate advice from the appropriate authorities and ensured that we closed year 3 and year 4 classes for the past two days, pending the PCR results of the member of staff. We have now had confirmation about this and the year 3 and 4 pupils and staff need to isolate until Saturday 24th April, returning to school on Monday 26th April. We now have a new set of menus. As usual, this rotates on a three week basis with our kitchen staff cooking from fresh produce. We are delighted that we can continue to provide hot meals that are cooked on the school premises. Starting on Monday 19th, we are working from the new Week 2 menu.
Each term, we publish a curriculum map for each of our year groups. These give a summary of the different themes that are going to be covered in this term's curriculum. We have taken immediate advice from the appropriate authorities and have been told that we need to close year 3 and year 4 classes tomorrow, pending the PCR results of the member of staff. This term, we are asking pupils to come in their PE kits on the days when it is PE. We do not want them to bring their PE kit in a bag to school. On PE days, they should come in the school PE kit but they may also wear tracksuit bottoms and warmer tops. Trainers need to be worn. Our summer term starts tomorrow. The arrangements are the same as they were during the last few weeks before the Easter holidays.
