This week's Famous Brit in our British Values series is the celebrated inventor of the telephone: Alexander Graham Bell. In assembly today, we looked at how he had invented if after his research into hearing and speech. We found out that his mother was deaf and this prompted Alexander and his father to be involved with this area of research.
