Gingerbread at Cookery Club

Mrs Bayley's Cookery Club have been making scrummy gingerbread this week.

Here's the recipe:


300g of Self-Raising flour

3 teaspoons of ginger

100g of sugar

50g or margarine

3 tablespoons of golden syrup


1) First, melt the margarine, sugar and syrup then add to the dry ingredients;

2) Next, mix well, adding a little milk to form a ball of dough;

3) Cut out into shapes;

4) Finally, bake at 160 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
