On Thursday 17th May, we are holding a meeting for year 6 parents and pupils about the planned two day visit to Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. As part of Hull Children's University educational visits, we are piloting this exciting new venture for them. As it is brand new, the HCU team have only just been finalising details. We are hoping to have final costs this week so parents will know how much more they will need to pay. In the meantime, we now know the schedule. We will be travelling up on Monday 18th June, leaving Hull first thing in the morning. The train will take us to Edinburgh where we will then explore three exciting venues. On the first day, Dynamic Earth and the Camera Obscura will be the destinations, followed by the world famous Edinburgh castle on Tuesday 19th. We have a host of exciting activities planned. There will be a meal at a restaurant followed by a sleepover on the Monday night and all locations will be on the Royal Mile, so easily accessible. We are inviting parents and pupils to a meeting after school on Thursday 17th May at 3.15pm. This will be after the final SATs exams so will be very welcome at the end of our year 6's tests.
