Year 6 Edinburgh Visit Parents' & Pupils' Meeting

Tonight, we held a meeting with year 6 parents and pupils about the forthcoming two day visit to Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. As part of Hull Children's University educational visits, we are piloting this exciting new venture for them. As it is brand new, Natasha Barley, the Director of the HCU has been organising the details herself and popped into lead this meeting. We will be travelling up on Monday 18th June, leaving Hull first thing in the morning. The train will take us to Edinburgh where we will then explore three exciting venues. On the first day, Dynamic Earth and the Camera Obscura will be the destinations, followed by the world famous Edinburgh castle on Tuesday 19th. We have a host of exciting activities planned. There will be a meal at a restaurant followed by a sleepover on the Monday night and all locations will be on the Royal Mile, so easily accessible. A letter with the complete itinerary will be sent out to year 6 parents shortly.
