Change of School Nurse

We had a special assembly this morning to say a big thank you and farewell to Mrs Starling our school nurse, who is retiring. Every class presented her with cards they had made and staff gave her gifts. Mrs Starling is continuing with her role as school governor. For many years now, the school nursing service has run a drop-in surgery every Wednesday morning. It is a service that our school buys into and is definitely one of the best things we do. Many pupils and parents have benefitted from the chance to speak to the nurse and get support and advice. Mrs Starling introduced Miss Walker, who will be replacing her in September. We were delighted to welcome her to Stepney.
