Up Periscope

This afternoon, years 5 and 6 were investigating light at the start of their autumn science project. Always keen to get the pupils interested in and excited about science, their teachers had them investigating and then constructing periscopes. This proved to be a great time for all, with the pupils discovering the fun that may be had with mirrors and lenses. Other pupils were using lightboxes to look at the colours of the spectrum.
With our high Victorian windows, the periscopes were ideal to use for looking across the road to Tescos!
