Miss Atkinson's assembly this morning was about cycling safely. One of our pupils had been knocked off his bike last week by a car. The driver made sure the boy got back home to his mum. Regrettably after school, one of our teachers was also involved in a collision with a car. A number of our pupils and staff saw it happen. We have informed our pupils that the teacher is recovering. This highlights the vulnerability of cyclists and the need for safety.
