Our two IPC representatives from year 6 went with Mr Browning to Spring Cottage Primary School this afternoon for a packed meeting of schools, involved in the Global Partnerships Programme. Pupils considered each of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. They also posed questions which will be asked the Freetown IPC meeting in Sierra Leone tomorrow. Pupils from all the schools worked well together. This is the ninth year in which the International Pupil Council has been running since Mr Browning and Mr Mason (in Freetown) started it. Under the skilled leadership of Kathleen Guthrie, both the pupils' and teachers' meeting were highly productive, as well as being fun.
