Kawther Scoops Top Prize in the Rotary Club Writing Competition

We have had some really exciting news. For years, the local Rotary Club has organised a writing competition for year 6 pupils. We have had some successes over the years, with pupil having runners-up prizes. This year, the Rotary Club has made it a year 4 event and Kawther has won the top prize. In assembly this morning, Mrs Wallace and Mr Winter, the Rotary Club President for the Holderness Branch, came in to present Kawther with the prize money and a trophy, while Kawther's parents popped in to watch. The school also received a trophy to keep.

Kawther's story was judged to be a stunning piece of work and Mrs Wallace read it out to the whole school.

Sana and Daniel received certificates for their brilliant entries.
