Richard Allen, Commonwealth Transatlantic Rower visited Stepney this morning, with his father and they brought a very special boat with them called Tamu'kke. Richard rowed single-handed and without any support vessels from Sierra Leona to Guyana. His aim was to get more people and more countries working together. Richard had heard about the wonderful work we do with Sierra Leone and was keen to share his experiences with us. Everyone sat enthralled to his presentation before popping outside to look at this amazing vessel. We were really impressed with his incredible achievement.
