Pre-pedalling


This afternoon, our year 1 and 2 pupils embarked on some brand new training. They took to pedal free bicycles to practise their balancing skills. Instead of the 'old-school' idea of having stabilisers on bikes when learning how to ride, the newest thinking is for pupils to develop a sense of balance first and also working towards that important 60mins of daily physical activity. This really ties in with our Growth Mindset Learning Muscle of 'Don't Give Up'. It was also a great deal of fun!
