EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 NEED TO SELF-ISOLATE

We have to report that a child, and now other pupils and staff have tested positive and have COVID symptoms. Children and staff in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes need to self isolate for 10 days starting with Thursday 25th March as Day 1.

If any of these pupils or staff develop symptoms, then they will have to start another 10 day period of isolating from when they developed symptoms. We have taken action and advice with this from the appropriate authorities once we were informed from parents.

Other staff will be continuing to work with Test and Trace now that we have closed for Easter.

If your child tests positive for coronavirus, having developed symptoms, you must contact the school nursing team on 01482 336634 or 01482 344301.

(They are open Monday to Friday)

This team is closed over the weekend and bank holidays so please call 111 if you have to report a medical emergency during this period.

The following advice still applies:

The School Nursing team will then inform us of the positive case and we will be able to organise working with Test and Trace to identify the contacts.

If your child tests positive for coronavirus, having developed symptoms on or after Monday 29th March, you should follow the contact tracing instructions provided by the NHS Test and Trace and you can also contact the School Nursing team for advice too.

The children return to school on Tuesday 13th April. On Monday 12th April we will be picking up messages on the school answering machine. If there has been a positive case within your family or you have been identified as contact please do leave a message on the answer machine and we will get back to you asap.
