Harvest Festival Final Reminder

October 24, 2018

Please send in any more Harvest Festival donations you may be willing to give.

Our Harvest Festival Assembly is fast approaching. It gives us chance to think about others. We have been collecting food items to give to a local charity. At 10.30am on Friday 26th October, Father Phil will be coming into school to lead our Harvest Assembly. We will have a short service in school, singing hymns, hearing readings and saying prayers for our food.

Linking with the appeal that Father Phil and his team at St. Mary’s Church, Sculcoates, are leading, we are collecting food donations for Hull Women’s Aid.

As always, we are extremely grateful for any contributions that you may donate for this worthy cause. If every pupil brings in items, we will have a staggering contribution.

Suggestions for donations:

Tins of food

Packets of biscuits; cereals, rice

Tea, coffee

Non-perishable foods

Please do not send in any fresh or perishable items and check the dates on food. We don’t want to send them food which has reached or will shortly be reaching the expiry dates.
