Cara and Maryam joined other schools at St. Mary Queen of Martyrs Primary School for the latest IPC meeting, in which they were discussing ways to improve conditions in Sierra Leone and the UK. They were looking at 'The Global Goals for Sustainable Development' and especially goal 11. This looks at 'Sustainable Cities and Communities', featuring work on recycling. Pupils shared the work they had been doing in school and started to make plans for recycling projects in their schools. Miss Baitson and Mr Browning along with teachers from the other schools were very impressed by the maturity of the pupils' contributions.
