In assembly this morning, we all bid a fond farewell to Mrs Purkins, who is retiring today. Cards were presented by classes together with gifts from the staff. We all sang ’Let’s Go Fly A Kite’, which is one of her favourites. Mrs Purkins has been an integral part of our admin team since she started in September 2002 and a familiar, friendly face greeting visitors to Stepney. We would all like to wish Mrs Purkins a very happy and well-deserved retirement..
