Join a Major Tulip Planting Event

You are invited to help out with a major Tulip planting event.

Run by Absolutely Cultured on 24 November and 25 November, we have been asked to invite our Stepney pupils to visit the site at Fountain Road Area on this weekend with their families so that they will be able to participate in this social initiative.

We have been asked to spread the word by publishing this information and reminding families to can join this massive planting activity this weekend.

Tools will be provided as will refreshments. There will be city of culture volunteers present to help children and their families/carers with the planting process.

Risk assessments have been produced by members of staff and will be shared with volunteer leads at the pre-plant meeting along with a clear health and safety briefing. There will be a trained first-aider at every plant site for the duration of the event, along with other trained staff member, both members have relevant DBS checks and are trained in safeguarding children.
