Pottery Session this Saturday

We have received this advert about an Archaeology Pottery Session at Hull and East Riding Museum. They’ve got a fantastic free event taking place tomorrow (Saturday 13 July, 11am – 4pm) for families.

"Potty About Archaeology Discover pottery through the ages at Hull and East Riding Museum. Explore all things ceramic with live historic pottery demonstrations showing you how people made pots in the past. Get hands-on and have a go yourself, crafting out of clay. Then explore the museum, touching pottery from the past at an object handling station or discovering more with pottery inspired activities. Explore our amazing collections, from the dinosaurs until the English Civil War. Wander through an Iron Age village, peruse Roman shops and nosey round a Medieval kitchen. Come and get potty about archaeology at this free event! Take a look at the leaflet attached, find us on Facebook (hullmuseums) and follow us on twitter (@Hull_Museums) to find out more."
