This Friday (18th October), we will be having our Harvest Festival Assembly in school at 10.30am. Father Phil, from St. Mary's Church will be joining us for this. In combination with St. Mary's, we are supporting Hull Veterans Support Centre, which is based across the road from the school on Beverley Road.
As always, we are asking for donations of non-perishable food items, which we will be able to present to this charity, which aims to support veterans. At the present time, the people being supported by this charity are all men, so any male - toiletries such as shaving items would be appreciated as well.
There are a number of problems and needs that are particular to veterans, including homelessness. We like to support a different charity each year and consider this to be a very worthwhile one.
We would be grateful if you would send in any donations to school.
