The Stephen Hughes Foundation Funds New Ukuleles

We were delighted to welcome back Hazel and Gary Hughes from the Stephen Hughes Foundation, who have kindly donated £500 to allow us to purchase seventeen new ukuleles to replace and supplement our existing instruments. This charity has also funded our school football kit a couple of years ago. As ever, we are indebted to them for this. In today's assembly, we welcomed our guests plus Steve Pickard, from by the Old Grammarians Lodge of the Free Mason. The Masons have provided the funding to the Stephen Hughes Foundation. The three of them are also keen ukulele players themselves. They joined our UkeKids in playing two pieces this morning. There were smiles all round! A fun packed morning was had by all.
