Next Thursday, it is World Book Day. Instead of having a dressing up day, we are doing something different this year:
All pupils are being asked to design and make a potato book character at home and bring this into school for a competition;
The potatoes will be displayed in the KS1 and KS2 library areas;
All pupils are also being asked to bring in a favourite book to share with a friend;
Buns will be on sale at break for 20p;
There wil be a book Sale in the hall in the afternoon, run by Year 6 - Five books for £1;
Please also support this event by taking chance to read with your child;
We will be giving out World Book Day vouchers to each pupil on this day as well.
