A message from the NHS:
"Our national KS2 Step into the NHS competition, which launched last summer, asks pupils to design a ‘thank you’ to our inspirational NHS staff.
Now more than ever, the competition takes on a truly special meaning. This is why we have extended the deadline for entries to Friday 19 June 2020, giving you and your pupils more time to get creative and recognise the work of NHS staff across the country.
We’re aware of the new and challenging situation teachers and parents currently face and we would like to support you in every way possible. For teachers, the competition can easily be set as an activity for your pupils, with all resources freely available to download and share for remote learning. We have also made it easier to enter via online-only submission.
We would love to see all the ways the NHS has touched peoples’ lives and how it remains at the heart of everything we do. So, why not encourage your pupils to take part?
