Unfortunately, at the moment, the number of COVID-19 cases is rising across the city. We are starting to see classes and 'bubbles' around Hull having to isolate. This includes some of our neighbouring primary schools. It is vitally important that we all do as much as we can to reduce the chance of infection.
For any of pupils who show symptoms, including coughs, we are sending them home. When parents arrive to pick them up, we are asking them to get their child tested at one of the testing centres and then not returning until they have negative results. This may seem draconian of us, but it is essential that we do this.
Apart from when they are in their classroom or office, staff are still wearing masks around school and we would like to thank parents for continuing to wear masks when entering the school premises.
