PSHE Draft Policy including Relationships & Health Education Consultation Letter

Parents: You will be aware that, as a part of your child’s educational experience at Stepney Primary School, we aim to promote personal wellbeing and development through a comprehensive taught programme of Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education. This programme gives our young people the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and practical skills to live healthy, safe, productive and fulfilling lives, both now and in the future.

From September 2020 the Department for Education is making Relationships and Health Education compulsory in all primary schools. This includes how we teach sex education in school. Please read the attached letter, draft policy and guidance sheet.
