Safeguarding Assembly - Stephen Lawrence Day/Racism

This week's assemblies for Key Stage 2 are focussed on Stephen Lawrence day, which is on 22nd April. Stephen Lawrence (13 September 1974 – 22 April 1993) was a black British teenager from Plumstead, southeast London, who was murdered in a racially motivated attack while waiting for a bus in Well Hall, Eltham on the evening of 22 April 1993. Two of the perpetrators were convicted of murder in 2012. We also talked about Racism.
