Sports Week Details

Firstly, it is with regret that we are not able to invite parents and relatives to our sports week events this year. Once again, the COVID-19 pandemic is the reason for this. We had hoped that by the summer term, we would all be back to normal. Owing to social distancing, we still cannot have parents joining us for this.

We have asked pupils to come in their PE kits for at least Monday to Wednesday this week. Here is the schedule:

Tuesday 8th June - Record Breakers. Pupils in years 1-6 will compete to see if they can set new records for a host of different sporting events.

Wednesday 9th June - KS2 Sports Day. Pupils in years 3-6 need to come to school wearing their team colours to compete in their sports day. Owing to COVID-19, no parents/relatives are allowed to join us.

Year 1 will also be starting their Cheertots sessions on this day so need to come in their PE kit as well.

Thursday 10th June - KS1 Sports Day. Pupils in years 1-2 will compete in their sports day. Owing to COVID-19, no parents/relatives are allowed to join us.

Friday 11th June. EYFS will have their sports day.

For all of these events, pupils need to wear sport kit plus we strongly recommend a hat and suncream (please ensure you put this on your child before they come to school. Staff are not allowed to put suncream on pupils). Water bottles are also essential.
