KEY STAGE 2 BUBBLE CLOSURE - YEARS 3, 4, 5 & 6 CLOSED UNTIL FRIDAY 4TH DECEMBER
This week, we have had to close the year 3, 4, 5 & 6 classes due to two positive tests within this bubble.
This was due to a couple of pupils having symptoms and testing positive. These were isolated cases and not part of an outbreak across the school.
Similarly, on Monday, we had to close the other year groups for one day as a precautionary measure. This was a case that was unrelated to the KS2 situation and we were able to reopen on Tuesday morning. May we take this opportunity to thank all our families for their support. The health and safety of everyone in our school community is of our first priority and we want to limit the spreading of this virus. Please go to the home-remote learning page for these year groups, where you'll find links to learning activities to complete at home during this period of closure.. The health and safety of pupils, their families and staff are of paramount importance and we want to limit the spreading of this virus.
With our Key Stage 2 classes in isolation at the moment, our teachers are being very busy setting work for the children to do and then marking this work every day. Other staff are phoning home as well to give support. Please encourage your child to go onto google classroom via their home learning pages then complete and 'hand in' their work electronically. We will feed back to them. Our staff would much rather be back in school with your children to give them the best education they can. In the present situation it is crucial that we keep their learning going remotely. Please help us and your child with this.
If you have any queries or problems then please call the school. You may be having difficulties logging onto the site or your child may be having problems with an aspect of their work. Please phone or email us. We are here to help.
