This morning, four of our year 6 pupils, along with Mr Browning, took part in a Mental Health Summit with Hull Young People's Parliament. We are really glad to be part of this again as Stepney pupils used to take part when the Parliament was first started. Unlike non-COVID times, when the Parliament sits in the Hull City Council Chamber in the Guildhall, today's summit was via Zoom. Our pupils were able to discuss items with pupils from other primary and secondary schools. They considered both the good and bad things about remote learning, compared with being in school. It was an interesting debate and gave the pupils many ideas about how to cope positively in the future.
They were also reminded about the "How are you feeling" website, which offers support to pupils and families in Hull.
